Event FAQ

Q: Should I use public transportation or is there parking available?
A: See the FAQ in the event description for specifics on the event you are attending.

Q: I am allergic to pets; do I have anything to worry about?
A: See the FAQ in the event description for specifics on the event you are attending.

Q: Can I bring my dog to the event?
A: We ask that attendees leave their furry loved ones at home.

Q: What if I can no longer attend your event?
A: If you are no longer able to attend the event, please update your registration by following these steps.

Q: Will I be guaranteed a seat at your event?
A: We make every attempt to accommodate all attendees. Since the majority of our events are free of charge and space is sometimes limited, we do suggest arriving on time to ensure the best chance of securing a seat. We check people in on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals who are not registered through Eventbrite will be asked to leave the line to register.

Q: Do you cap attendance?
A: While we do cap attendance, we leave headroom in the attendance limit due to giant fluctuations in our attendance rates over the years.

Q: Why don't you charge for events?
A: At this time PDXWIT does not charge for events, unless they are fundraisers, because we feel strongly that event fees, even nominal, would cause a barrier for some.

We look forward to seeing you!
