Why do you volunteer for PDXWIT? 

I believe in PDXWIT's mission because their work has had a positive impact on me and my community. I volunteer because I want other womxn and marginalized folk to get the resources they need to feel included and succeed in tech.

What is your day job or another passion of yours (besides PDXWIT)? 

CURRENTLY LOOKING! Please hire me for your digital PM and strategy needs!

My other passion is making laser cut jewelry. Some of you may have received a cool PDXWIT pin for donating to the 2018 Give Guide and those were made by me!

 What has been your favorite PDXWIT project, initiative or event you have participated in as a volunteer? Why?

I help out the Event Ops team, Give Guide, and the Mentorship Program. I think the Mentorship Program is my favorite because I've met people who resonated with me and it made me remember some obstacles I've faced to pursue my tech career goals. When I was facing those obstacles I wish I had a mentor who could have guided me in the right direction. Working with my mentees is very rewarding especially when they've made a big break in something they're working on.

 What is something people may not know about you? 

I love video games and am obsessed with Pikachu from Pokemon.
