We’ll have a short presentation to negotiate effectively for promotions and raises. Led by Elizabeth Robillard, VP of Business Development at Usermind ( and principal of consultancy at Negotiating at Work ( for practical advice on how to negotiate for yourself more effectively. Whether you are looking for new opportunities, a promotion or a raise, this brief talk will offer some concrete strategies on how to reach your goals.

We’re also looking for volunteers to participate in the resume and portfolio reviews, as well as the mock interviews. If you’re interested, please select “Volunteer” in the registration process. If you are volunteering and would also like to participate in the event, please only register once so we have an accurate headcount.


4:30 p.m. - Doors open, reviews begin
5:15 p.m - Introductions (PDXWIT, host, etc.)
5:20 p.m. - Short presentation with Q&A
5:40 p.m. - Reviews continue
6:30 p.m. - Event ends
